  1. What a glorious addition to the WW universe…its been coming a lot time, hasn’t it?
Hope it will be used also to bring to life myths from parts of the world that weren’t in the scope of representation thus far.
And it would be something if done so, cause as Joseph Campbell puts it: Myth is a public dream and dream is a private myth.

    • Hi there my friend, hope you’re well. Yes indeed, Yara Flor has so far been a delight as Wonder Girl, she is very much a divergent variant to the previous characters who have held that moniker (though I’ll always love the Donna Troy version) It’s fantastic to finally have an Amazon that’s been solely created both visually and story-wise by a female, and Joelle Jones is a stunning artist/writer so I can think of no better creator suited to the task. The Amazons themselves though mostly seen as of Greek origin, are a diverse female race brought together by the ancient gods from across the globe, but Yara is the first Amazon actually from the Amazon! so very, very cool indeed! 🙂
